Laine Shepherd We first looked at the opportunity in February 2006 after Steve & Rosemary placed a shop card in our pub. The pub trade has been in decline for some time and we needed to earn a bit extra each week to cover the bills. We had tried a network marketing company before and had spent far more than we earned buying products and attending regular high priced meetings, so were impressed by Kleeneze’s low start up cost and zero stock holding. Laine wasn’t quite as keen as I was as we were already pretty busy running the pub, newsagents and local community directory as well as the normal running about when you have two children. We decided to give it a go though, at least until we had recouped our initial investment and then we would decide whether or not to carry on. Steve brought round our 200 catalogues on the Wednesday and we put the first lot out that night. After two weeks we had placed orders over £350 and so were awarded our free gift from Kleeneze. We also achieved 650 points in our first four weeks and were sent our free retail kit. After realising that this business could actually work for us, we have steadily raised our income, now earning more than £1,000 per month. Last month our efforts really paid off when we qualified for a free trip to Cannes – all expenses paid. ![]() |
